Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the sponsoring institutions and the organizing committee, it is our great pleasure and privilege to welcome all the participants from the world to the Ni-Cu Symposium to be held in Xi'an in the summer of 2009. This conference will strive to bring together geoscientists from all over the world that share a common interest in the study of magmatic Ni-Cu sulfide deposits. The meeting will provide a unique opportunity to exchange new ideas, to share achievements in the field of magmatic Ni-Cu sulfide ore systems (particularly those that occur in small intrusions and conduits), as well as to strengthen international collaboration.

We feel greatly honored to have this opportunity to host this conference, and it is our utmost pleasure to assume this responsibility with the wonderful cooperation of marvelous colleagues.
